LURI tees are cut oversized with a drop shoulder. Every number below is a garment measurement taken flat, in inches — not a body measurement. The most reliable way to pick your size is to measure a t-shirt you already own and like, then compare.
LURI t-shirts are oversized with a drop shoulder, available in five sizes: S, M, L, XL and 2XL. Chest measures 22″ to 26″ flat (44″ to 52″ full circumference) and body length runs 28.5″ to 30.5″. Sizes step up by 1″ in the chest and 0.5″ in length. All measurements are of the garment laid flat, not of the body. Because the fit is intentionally roomy, compare against a t-shirt you already own rather than ordering by your usual size label.
Garment measured flat. Tolerance of about ±0.5″ is normal on knitted fabric.

Chest is measured flat, pit to pit. For full chest circumference, double it — a size M at 23″ flat is a 46″ chest garment.
Most size charts online quote full chest circumference, so this is the row to use if you are comparing LURI against another brand.

|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Flat (pit to pit) | 22″ | 23″ | 24″ | 25″ | 26″ |
| Full circumference | 44″ | 46″ | 48″ | 50″ | 52″ |

Use a t-shirt you already own and like the fit of. Lay it flat on a hard surface, smooth out the wrinkles, and measure in a straight line — do not follow the curve of the fabric.
Three approaches, in order of how reliable they are.
Measure the chest of a t-shirt you already wear and like, flat, pit to pit. Find the closest number in the chart. If you want it looser than that tee, go up one size.
Measure around the fullest part of your chest, then add 6–8″ for the intended oversized drape. Match that total against the full circumference row above.
Sizes are not standard across brands, and this pattern is deliberately roomy. Your usual size will normally work, but the chart will always beat the label.
A size S at 22″ flat is a 44″ chest garment. On a regular-fit tee that would be a large. Here it is the intended silhouette: the shoulder seam sits below your actual shoulder, the body runs straight rather than tapered, and the sleeve reads short because the seam has already travelled down your arm.
The 260 GSM Supima knit is what makes that work. A lighter fabric cut to these measurements would hang limp and read as ill-fitting. The weight is what gives the silhouette its structure.
What sizes do LURI t-shirts come in?
Five sizes: S, M, L, XL and 2XL. Chest runs from 22″ flat on a size S to 26″ on a 2XL, which is 44″ to 52″ full circumference. Body length runs from 28.5″ to 30.5″.
Are the measurements body measurements or garment measurements?
Garment measurements, taken with the t-shirt laid flat. They describe the tee, not the person wearing it. To use them, measure a t-shirt you already own the same way and compare.
Is the chest measurement half or full?
Half. It is measured flat from underarm seam to underarm seam, so double it for full chest circumference. A size M at 23″ flat is a 46″ chest garment.
How do LURI t-shirts fit?
Oversized with a drop shoulder. The shoulder seam sits below your natural shoulder point, the body runs straight rather than tapered, and the overall line is boxy. It is a deliberately roomy cut, so the measurements read larger than a regular-fit tee of the same size label.
Why does the sleeve length look short?
Because the shoulder seam already sits well down the arm on a drop-shoulder pattern. Sleeve length is measured from that seam, not from your actual shoulder, so the number is smaller than on a set-in sleeve tee even though the sleeve reaches the same point on your arm.
Should I size up or down?
Compare the chest measurement of a t-shirt you already like against the chart. If you want a looser drape than that tee, go up one size.
Will the t-shirt shrink and change size after washing?
Shrinkage was measured under ISO 6330 wash testing and falls within the accepted textile tolerance band, with spirality close to zero, so the measurements hold. Wash cold, tumble dry low or line dry in shade. High heat is the main cause of shrinkage beyond tolerance.
How much variation is normal?
About ±0.5″ on any given measurement. Knitted fabric relaxes and moves slightly during cutting and stitching, and this tolerance is standard across the industry.
Do the LURI 1/1 pieces use this size chart?
Yes, the same pattern and measurements apply. But each 1/1 piece exists as a single garment in a single size, listed on its own product page, and that size cannot be changed.
Are men’s and women’s sizes different?
Yes, Luri Tshirt’s are Unisex
